Featured Friday Business
Speedy Auto Service
With Sunday road trips back in season, Speedy Auto is where Frederictonians make sure the car doesn't ruin the day.
Plant-sale weekend means trunks loaded with perennials, families heading out to Hanwell for Touch A Truck, day trips down the river. The car gets put to work, and the first warm weekend after a Maritime winter is when small things you've been ignoring start to actually matter. Speedy Auto Service in Skyline Acres handles the work that doesn't need a dealership visit. Brakes, oil, the noise you've been hearing for three weeks, the tire that's leaking slow. Local, straightforward, the kind of place where they tell you what actually needs doing now and what can wait. Worth a call before you point the car at anywhere that isn't Fredericton this summer.

Picaroons Roundhouse
Bill Thorpe Walking Bridge, north end
Patio season is open on the river. Saturday and Sunday standard hours. The long-weekend traffic across the bridge starts now and doesn't stop until October.
Strange Adventures Comic Bookshop
Independent comic shop now featured on the directory. Worth flagging for any kids in the Sk8Fest crowd who'll want to spend their allowance after Saturday afternoon.
