Thanksgiving weekend. If you are cooking, the Boyce Market on Saturday is where the turkey-adjacent everything is. If you are not cooking, Kings Landing is serving dinner at the King's Head Inn all three days and you should book now, not Sunday. Loreena McKennitt is at the Playhouse Tuesday and Wednesday, which is the kind of booking that does not happen here often.

Thanksgiving dinner out, in Hanwell, for the year you decide the kitchen stays clean.

The Fireside Restaurant & Lounge is the restaurant inside the Radisson Kingswood Hotel at 41 Kingswood Way in Hanwell, just outside the city. It was on this summer's Wild Blueberry FlavourFest list as Kingswood B.B.L., and it is one of the few full-service rooms on that side of town, which matters on a long weekend when the downtown spots are booked solid.
