FREX wraps up Sunday, the students are back, and on Monday the biggest music week of the year starts. Harvest opens with Matt Andersen on the TD Main Stage and does not let up until the following Sunday. If you have friends coming in for it, this is the week to tell them where to eat and where to park.

Across the river from the Harvest crowds, and Wednesday is wing night.
Cannon's Cross Pub at 15 Riverside Drive is the north side's standby for classic pub food: wings, burgers cooked to order, fish and chips, loaded nachos, and a Montreal smoked meat sandwich the regulars keep mentioning. Booth seating, rotating taps, a big outdoor deck while the weather holds, and daily specials. It carries 4.2 stars across several hundred Google reviews, with friendly service and generous portions coming up again and again. Open from 11:30 am every day.
