Highland Games weekend in Freddy
The pipes are out. Highland Games weekend is here.
You will hear it before you see it this weekend. The New Brunswick Highland Games have taken over Government House, and the music lineup reads like a who's who of Atlantic Canada: Jimmy Rankin on Friday, Joel Plaskett on Saturday, Vishten bringing the Acadian and Celtic fiddle. Around it, a tribute night at the Playhouse, a Celtic-punk show at The Cap, and a Sunday morning of rug braiding out at Kings Landing if you want to slow it down.
Here is the whole weekend.

Featured this week
A weekend on your feet at the Games earns you a treat afterward. Seoul Nail & Spa is a new addition to the directory: a nail salon right downtown on Regent Street doing manicures and pedicures.
It is one of the newer spots on Freddy Local, so if you have been in, we would love to hear how it was. Find it at 289 Regent Street.
That is the weekend. If you run a Fredericton business with something worth putting in front of the whole city next Friday, just reply to this email and I will take a look.
See you out there,
Lesli
