FEATURED FRIDAY BUSINESS: Norfolk Motel
Everybody needs somewhere to put the visiting relatives. Norfolk Motel sits at 815 Riverside Drive, and it is the kind of place that quietly solves that problem without anyone having to sleep on your couch.
Rooms come with cable and free Wi-Fi. Microwaves and fridges are available if you ask. Each room has a desk, a ceiling fan, ironing things, and a hairdryer. There are vending machines, currency exchange, and free local calls, which is a wonderfully old-fashioned thing to still advertise.
The location does the heavy lifting: 3.2 km from UNB, 4.8 km from the Beaverbrook Art Gallery and Science East, and 8 km from the Fredericton Golf and Curling Club. Convocation weekend, hockey tournaments, a wedding on the north side. You will think of them eventually.
Visit their website or find them in the directory.
NEW IN THE DIRECTORY
It was an HVAC week. Three heating and cooling companies joined: Miller Heating and Cooling, Bee Green HVAC and Refrigeration, and Brewers HVAC Solutions. Bookmark one now, because you will go looking for it in February at the worst possible moment.
Also new: Degree Residential, for the trades and construction side of the same problem.
