Kings Landing is a living history village and open-air museum on the Saint John River in Prince William, about 20 minutes west of Fredericton. Costumed interpreters recreate life in the river valley about 200 years ago, with farm animals, horse and wagon rides and hands-on workshops. Many of the historic buildings were moved here from river valley sites before the Mactaquac dam was built. Visitors can eat at the King's Head Inn and shop at the Peddler's Market, and the village runs seasonal events and school programs.
